PM Modi To Akshay Kumar, “Twinkle Ji Pura Gussa Mujh Pe Nikalti Hain”; Actress Reacts

Recently, Akshay Kumar got a chance to interview PM Narendra Modi. It’s not every day that Bollywood gets to chat with the PM. In a candid and completely “non-political chat” with the Prime Minister, Akshay Kumar asked him about his day-to-day activities other than politics. During the conversation, the Kesari actor asked him, if he is active on social media and follows people on the micro-blogging websites.

Replying to Akshay’s question, PM said, “Maine social media zaroor dekhta hoon. Isse mujhe bahar kya chal raha hai iski jaankari milti hai.” He then added, “Main aapka bhi aur Twinkle Khanna ji ka bhi Twitter dekhta hun. Aur jis tarah se woh mujh par gussa nikalti hain toh main samajhta hoon ki isse aapke parivaar mein bahut shaanti rehti hogi: PM #ModiWithAkshay #BharatKaGarvModi”

Re-Tweeting the same, Mrs Funny Bones reacted and wrote, “I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work :)”

As we all know, Twinkle Khanna is known for speaking her mind. Back in 2017, the actress-turned-writer had lashed out at the Modi government for imposing hefty taxes on sanitary pads.

Akshay generated a lot of curiosity when he tweeted that he is off to do something very different in an untouched territory. Many speculations rose indicating that the actor is set to join politics. However, in no time, Akki quashed the reports and tweeted that he isn’t joining politics. And later in the night, revealed what his venture is all about. Akshay shared the teaser of his interview with the PM on social media and wrote, “While the whole country is talking elections and politics, here’s a breather. Privileged to have done this candid and COMPLETELY NON POLITICAL freewheeling conversation with our PM @narendramodi . Watch it at 9AM tomorrow via @ANI for some lesser known facts about him!”
